Kim Tae-Young (born 8 November 1970) is a retired South Korean football player. He usually played as left or centre back. He has spent his entire club career in Chunnam Dragons. He played for the South Korea national football team and was a participant at the 1998 FIFA World Cup and at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Part of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korean defensive trio alongside Hong Myung-Bo and Choi Jin-Cheul.
